Pretty sure in California that is covered under emissions warranty for 8 years. If that’s the case, failing at Year 9 could happen. If it fails before then, and it’s proved to be the battery, it should be covered.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

I am actively engaged in purchasing someone’s 2021 on the private market for a fair price. Once secured, I’ll post details with my excitement.
