Rim Color Modification
Hey All,
I have my 2025 X7 on order. Really had a tough time deciding on the rims. I went with the 22 inch metallic vs 22 black. I wanted black but didnt really like the design of the black rims offered. Has anyone powder coated the stock rims black? Here is a pic of my build. Thanks in advance! |

the 21's powdercoated look nice.
the issue i see with powdercoating those is that you would lose the contrast and lose alot of the detail.

These wheels are amazing already! I wouldn't coat them. I also don't like all black wheels and they all look the same IMO because of lack of any contrast. If you really like black wheels, I would get the OEM 22 blacks.

Here's a 3rd idea, you could get the OEM 752 wheel and get the best of all worlds, 21", black, and OEM.
