i would contact your ppf installer. i think thats going to need replacement if heat doesnt heal it. not sure that matte ppf will heal the same as glossy

Yes but you still can make it work without it. Hot water is really the key.

Try a heat gun or hair dryer in a small area and see if it makes it better. Do you know if the satin has self healing properties? PPF warranties usually does not cover scratches like these. It only covers incidents for objects that breaks through the PPF and cause a dentation or small chip in it.

MystroX5 Thank you for sharing your expert knowledge with us. Your information is very helpful! If it's not too much trouble, could you please share the product links for S-100 and Griots 3-1? It would also be greatly appreciated if you could provide a tutorial on how to apply these products to the unit. Thank you!

The best default is always a basic detailer spray from companies like Meguires as it is safe of paint, ppf and vinyl.

My goto is use S-100 detailing spray which has a combo of beeswax and carnauba wax that doesn’t leave any white residue. It seems to pull up about everything on any surface and leave it protective ultra slippery finish on everything from paint, ppf, and vinyl graphics.
It’s what I use on my factory PPF from Porsche on my Manufaktur Exclusive 911.

You can find it at your local Harley Davidson shop. It works wonders over the entire vehicle, including the wheels.

Would this be a good choice to remove water spots from ceramic coated vehicles also? Thanks.
