Yes, I heard about that. Although, I think it was because he didn't have a Forum Vendor account but was offering the same dealership warranties the vendors were selling but for waaaay cheaper. If I was a Forum Vendor Sponsor I would have gotten him banned too.LOL I wouldn't want anyone else taking my clients especially, if they sell my exact same product for cheaper.

Another data point, got the BMW maintenance plan ultimate +2 (72month/75000miles) and after market warranty(96month/75000miles) for $8577 from Ben(I think I saw multiple ppl on the forum recommended him). Not sure if it’s a good deal or not.

Data point (Extended Warranty): 96m/100K miles [96 Months "an additional 4 years" (total of 8 years when added to 4-years factory) and 100K Miles, Full (Bumper to Bumper) Coverage, $100/visit deductible after the 4th year]
Cost: $3,750 before taxes IMPORTANT Note to everyone: make sure you understand what you are paying for when buying a warranty. Some dealers present a 48 months as if it is 48 months from the day you sign )(aka, if you buy it 3 years before your factory warranty expires , you are only getting/buying 1 YEAR effectively). Some dealers present 48 months as 48 months from the day the factory warranty expires, which is then a TRUE 4-year warranty. All what matters is the START and EXPIRATION date of the warranty, not just the length. Do not fall in these traps by some dealers. My warranty above is a good example. It is a 96 months warranty, but it is a true 96 months that equals 48 months extension, because the 96-months clock starts from day 1. Hence effectively the 96 months warranty is a 48 months (or 4-years extension) from the day factory warranty expires, which is still an awesome deal giving me 8 years of coverage for just $3,750. I see a 48 months and 60 and 72 months warranties above, but they are not specifying if that means X months from the vehicle 1st owner purchase date, or X months from the warranty contract signing date or X months from the date the factory warranty expires. Waise and Taktix1.
Thank you for sharing. Are the prices you shared for a BMW warranty? OR a third party warranty company? On my very first new vehicle, I got screwed by a third party warranty company going out of business. Nowadays, I don't keep my vehicles long enough to need to have coverage beyond what's included. But when I occasionally do need a long warranty (like for my wife's vehicle, she keeps hers longer), I always purchase an extended warranty from the manufacturer. |

The maintenance plan can be discounted by $500 from the prices quotes on the official bmw website: https://bmwusaservice.com/ultimatecare put in your cars info here and see what they retail price is and make sure to get $500 off of that price This applies to every dealer Like the 72 months/125k should be $4499, i would know i got it last month when buying a x7 and i confirmed this $500 discount when reextending my maintenance plan on my m6 at a different dealership. I also confirmed this 2nd years ago when buying a 5 series |

I would like to share a positive experience working with Christine Newman to get BMW Ultimate Care Plus for my recently purchased CPO. She was very responsive. Price was very good. It was an overall pleasant purchase experience. If anyone is looking to purchase a BMW Extended Service Contract (aka warranty) or BMW Ultimate Care (aka maintenance), I highly recommend reaching out to her. Here is her contact info for your convenience:
