I hear a similar sound while driving my 2020 40xi with 35,000 miles. I can hear the noise, as you've mentioned, when driving on uneven parking lots or roads at speeds under 5 miles per hour. Next month, I'm taking my car for regular service and state inspection. I will inform them about the exact same issue you have described, but I can already anticipate them saying, 'It's normal on these models.' They may play dumb for obvious reasons. My warranty is set to expire in June. If they refuse to identify the issue and promptly fix it, I will at least have it documented for future reference. If necessary, I will escalate the matter to higher-level management or BMW corporate.

My local BMW dealership is awful; everyone there has a 'Don't bother me' attitude.
