Just heard from my dealer on the QC situation, apparently there is a recall and they are addressing it this week. Cars should start moving next week.

Interesting, many have passed and are on the way to dealers. Ask for specifics. Mine is on the way to the dealer. I ran my VIN and don't have any open recalls.

Dealer had no details on the recall. I've checked the VIN for my build and it's not showing any recalls, in either case the car been stuck in QC for a week now.

I don't know if that's the same situation on you guys or not. In track my BMW and the order detail dealer sent to me, all show that it's rear manual side window shades. But in the configurator that up today shows it is still Electric Rear Side Windon Shares.

It's always been electric. The verbiage has been incorrect. They corrected it in the 24 MY documentation.

No, that was an error on My BMW Garage. It showed I had it for about 2 hours. It also dropped other packages, so I figured it was an error.

you lucked out, it was deleted from the 40i on 2/28/23, they probably got it in before it was removed from the option list.
