Anyone ordering 22" 913M style wheels?
I am not a fan of the jet black 755M style wheels and plan to order the 913M style wheels for my X7. I could not find a picture of these wheels in google. Anyone else ordered these?

I ordered them on my skyscraper Grey M60i. Also not a fan of solid black wheels; they blend in with the tires too much for my taste and end up looking like my very first car looked when the hubcaps fell off. 😂

Agreed. We also ordered them for our Brooklyn Grey. Just the right amount of black and gray to blend well with the paint and shadow line trim and not get lost in the tires like the all black wheels do. Plus the pattern on the 913M stands out to me as a "BMW'esque" wheel in appearance. A lot of the other wheel patterns currently offered on the 23 X7 look like every other manufacturer's wheels, particularly the all black wheels.

We went with 913M and love the contrast with mineral white and all the gloss black accents. I usually do like black wheels but we wanted to try something different this time around, especially with the lighter interior. We have zero regrets with this setup.

Same school of thought here. I'm over the all black wheels. I wouldn't order them even if I was ordering a blacked out vehicle.

Forza Wheels - 913M Style
I am contemplating ordering a set of 913M’s from Forza for my wife’s ‘24 X7. Has anyone had any experience with their wheels yet? Do they balance OK? Finish look good?

2025 X7 xDrive40i here. Spare tire is included the build.
TLDNR: 913M staggered setup comes with Mixed RFT, confirming the 2025 with 913M ships with summer RFT in the front and all-season RFT in the rear? Because, at TireRack (and usually their OEM data is fairly accurate, the Mixed RFT shows with "both" summer tires in front and rear. X7 default is 754M, "non" staggered setup, all season RFT. I thought i was okay with that, design of 754M. Afterall it's free in the build. The design and look of 754M initial impression, well, didn't grab my attention all that well. Seem too much open'ness. I am considering going with the 913M. Doing so changes to "staggered" setup. This is okay, all our current BMW's are staggered setup. The X3 is on OEM summer RFT. 913M says it comes with "MIXED" RFT, and searching here what that entails, seem to point to following, Quote:
For folks that have recently taken 2025 X7 delivery with 913M in xDrive40i, what make and model of "tires" (i know we are discussing wheels here) came with the 913M? And if you have DHP, does DHP makes driving on 22" with 913M for instance, feel "nice"? I don't know what the word "nice" really means here, but anyway... But more so, with 22", i've only been up to 20", never 21" or let alone 22". I'm sure the "bling" is better with 22" (than 21") but how is the ride with 22" and 912M, staggered, with less rubber between wheel/ground? The roads here in NC is "okay" with usual # of potholes and such. With the double pane, acoustic glasses on all windows, i'm hoping the road noise with 22" will be (hopefully) not much worse than with 21". And this disclaimer, lol, X7 cannot be built with anything but 21" and higher rims. Last edited by dinan5m3; 05-04-2024 at 11:14 AM.. |

I briefly considered the 913Ms but was spooked by discussions here regarding the lack of tire choices and the high prices, so went with the 754Ms anyway. I’m glad I did because they look great in person - much better than in pictures - and have really grown on me. Check them out in person, you might actually like them! |

BMW is NOT "mixing" run flat and non-run flat tires on the same car. Think about that. It wouldn't make sense. Mixed means that they don't guarantee what tires the car will come with. Could be pirelli or continental or whatever. I have the 22' black wheels and they came with continental premium contact 6. There is very little ride difference between 21 and 22" in my opinion. When I put my 20" snow tires on, it rides softer, but blizzacks are very soft. DHP does not change the straight line ride quality whatsoever in my opinion. The X7 is one of the quieter riding vehicles out there. Of note, if your tires start to wear uneven, which seems to happen a lot on the bmw's, they may get louder over time. |

Yes, i was incorrect in saying rft and non-rft are getting mixed. Interesting, so mixed means mixed vendors (???), hopefully same vendor in the front, and another vendor for rear. I thought mixed meant, mixed categories, i.e. summer mixed with all season, perhaps. I'll check the local lot on M60i since the same wheel is showing as Mixed RFT in bmw configurator. |
