It was like a small hide and seek adventure! Gotta tell you, I love this LUV (luxury utility vehicle) The ride is amazing! Still too early to text out the speed We got our first snow that stuck last night and the XB7 handled the trip taking my kids to school this AM without any issues. Personally I do not think there is a more comfortable LUV at the XB7 price. |

I have a regular X7 4.0, and on Ski Trips when I cruise about 300 miles I can get 22 mpg with a roof carrier in eco mode. What is the mileage like in eco (not even sure if that is available) but I am so damn curious. I owned a 2017 B7 which was so super comfortable, I miss the power.

No such thing as Eco mode in the Alpina. We do get Comfort+ though. My best mpg was around 22 driving to Indianapolis last year. Total average over 30k miles is 11mpg though with about 90% city driving. |

Man, you guys have to exert serious self control with that alpina. Don’t know how you do it. One reason I got the 40i is it forces me to chill. Well, that and I saved $20k v M60 and $50k v. XB7. And 21 mpg average! (11 mpg… geez.) Be safe out there.

But on a serious note; the 11mpg can be blamed on atrocious stop & go Chicago traffic. There was a Swiss firm that studied the timing of the traffic lights here and said that things could be made over 40% more efficient just by synchronizing the timing of the lights. The city wanted no part of that… |

Self control is very hard with the XB7
I find myself going 80 in a 50 mph zone without a clue and I have hit triple digits on the freeway not realizing it. The Alpina is so smooth even on crappy Michigan roads its unreal. |
