The 'L' plate idea is dodgy though as you legally cant go over 45mph.
My mate had a chipped 325tds (175bhp) and put a 318tds (90bhp) badge on it. Quite a few people got smoked!!
He did it because he worked for his father's business and he did not want the other workers thinking he was driving a 'fancy' car.
I saw an A4 the other day with all the RS4 kit on it (wheels, thin exhausts, bodykit, chrome mirrors, RS4 badge)
How did I know that it was not a proper RS4 - I hear you ask????
He did not think to remove the 1.9TDI badge from the other side
And also its backend was pure black with soot.
Very funny.
