I cannot say I've had the pleasure of open wheel racing. Honestly I'm ready to just buy an RS7 for $99,000 invoice, tune it to 720 HP and 740 ft/lb with stage 1 software, and never mod it again. Even my lady would be able to drive it.
With no modding and my free time I'd just go to Skip Barber 8 days a year and learn how to race for real.
