I've read a little about egr block off plates for the exhaust manifold - I'm assuming the egr has to be bypassed and coded from the ECU to do this?
Id really like to delete the dpf as well, but I have nobody I can find to code near me.

No coding required for the EGR block, just need to look at a CEL the entire time until you tune it out.
A lot of people send their DDE out to Canada to get it tuned for the DPF delete.
