Rent demo equipment for sure, but most of the time the boots aren't much different if at all for demo vs regular bs. I live in Austin but I go once a year at least, so I bought a pair of very nice boots, and a boot bag. Had the heat molded to my foot. And have used them for 6 years now which equates to probably one season for a local lol. The best part is traveling is no different with just the boots ( and helmet). But if I owned all the pro ass fucking gear idpay 50+ each way just to fly with that shit.

I can say from 10 years of experience that this is the way to go, if you intend on returning. Rental boots blow, demo or not.
