To be honest, it isn't entirely clear. Ramos and I have both been around these M2 forums since they were still tied to the regular 2 series forums. In the recent months, we have seen cars in other countries come standard with different options (i.e. sunroof) which we won't be getting and so it's not entirely unreasonable to think that NA will get some other changes. Add to that recent photographs showing the driving dynamics iDrive screens highlighting the shocks/dampers as part of the tuning when pressing the sport button - one starts to question things.
We can't go off interviews and discussions or official sources because time and time again we have seen those to be wrong. Just look at the conversation an "M specialist" had with a forum member at the auto show in Belgium. Information is just all over the place. Why you guys are unable to see where the confusion is... I don't know. It's there.
But I don't see the M2 getting dynamic damper settings - regardless of what images, discussions, etc. come up in the next days. Until someone drives one and says "The dampers stiffen when I press the sport button", I will just assume it is fixed.
