$450 for all 4 but I'm moving away from the idea of buying them. They only come in 7.5". Have seen some stuff on tire rack that I like that are 17x8 and not much more expensive.

Probably around ET37 would be close to the ideal offset, but with stock camber the 245/45 tire will be close the fender and possibly rub at full steering lock.

IMO the most logical solution is OE 17x8.0" ET34 wheels and 235/45/17 tires. That is what I have on my E90, and it is a safe trouble-free fitment.
At one point I was running 275/30r19 tires in the rear w/o problems so I shouldn't have an issue with 245/45r17. With a higher offset, I'd be able to add spacers if necessary right?
PS- logic is not a factor here.
