I just specked out a 580 similar to our X7 50i and it came in at $110,000. Of course there are more options you can add that are pricey but this would be a common build for the GLS 580. |
Long time in Mercedes family owned 13' 450 and 17' 550. My 580 configuration was around 110k but the lease numbers were way more than X7 M50i. Assuming paltry discounts from Mercedes dealers with 0.00176 MF and 55% residual (36/12) just released the difference in monthly payments would be more than $500 per month. And M50i beats GLS 580 in performance by good numbers.
My 2017 GLS550 was a smooth freeway cruiser but not so great for a local drive. The transmission wasn't that smooth though it's a 9G.
