This must be possible. I have a pre-LCI (FRM 1) where pulling the stalk (flash-to-pass) is the halogen bulbs, not the bi-xenons.
I had it coded at one point to use the xenon's for flash-to-pass, but went back because unless they were already ignited, pulling the stalk would only move the shutter... I was probably missing some values that I needed, but it wasn't that important to me so I left it.
I'm not sure if FRM2 presents a different challenge here. If not, coding it should be straightforward. (I can check what I changed for you if you'd like.)
