Ok, I think I see what you are saying.... You are correct, iDrive will "nag" you if you wait another 7500 miles, blowing past the 10k mile mark, before you actually change your oil. That is one of the reasons I like to change my oil every 5k miles. It keeps the "mileage math" simple AND keeps the milage timing in line with CBS.
