Those of on here that have it have had good success with it, including myself. Only issue I had with it initially was an intermittent electrical connection with my trailer. Turns out the 15 year old 7-pin connector needed to be replaced. After that, no issues. When doing my research, I did not see any noteworthy negative reviews that were enough to scare me away (several negative ones seemed like operator error or other throw away negative reviews). I recommend it if you don't want to run wires/put holes in your X7.
