I am in NYC and bought the Pirelli Snow staggered 22 setup and put them on the original wheels. I have now driven through two major snows and they are perfect. I am sure 22s are not an ideal snow wheel size but I didn't want to buy new wheels for the snow as I have done in the past. Highly recommend the 22 setup. They are available on tirerack with insurance.
