Update after 4 months of installing the Quooker Flex tap….
I bought the tap online at approx 20% discount (Google is your friend here) and installed it myself. Very easy to do and there are clear video instructions online.
The verdict - it’s great! It’s definitely boiling water from the tap. We have used it what seems like a lot. The usual stuff such as hot drinks and pot noodles lol, filling pans for boiling veg etc.
The best thing I found by accident is that if you run boiling water and cold at the same time it’s perfect for hand washing. No need to run the tap until normal water flows through the system. As for running cost, I’ve not noticed any dent in the leccy bill.
Summary: the kettle is dead.
