Hi Joe, is your headlight side marker (amber) on? If you are properly coded, you will not have the amber light enabled on your headlight.
The steps in the original post, thru bimmercode, leaves the amber side marker light on - after the coding. I did the steps above and I still have the amber side marker. My lights seem to be working properly as they are adjusting around traffic and not blinding others. I wonder if the bimmercode method is missing a step. |
I just had a look at mine and my side marker is also on and my AD/VLD is working correctly, splitting, dipping, etc. Not sure about the side markers qualifier on this being an indicator. My car was delivered from the factory with the system enabled. It's part of my VO. Maybe all models and model years aren't the same when it comes to the side marker?
