Probably if you search you can find a how-to. I took some pictures one time and posted when I was tracking down the buzzing that the vibrator makes which is annoying. You can buy the vibrator and change it yourself if you have the tools. It is a very overpriced part, nothing more than a assymetrical brass weight which rotates on the end of a little electric motor. Can’t believer I paid like $140 for this ridiculous BMW part. In my opinion, you’re not losing anything by not having it functioning, but again do some searching if you are determined to have it work.
