Just update on this:
Car came back from dealership now, the wire is not visible anymore.
Apparently someone at the factory who installed this didn’t tuck the wire in! Lucky I caught it before it melts to cause more damage.
But this makes me question BMW’s quality and fit and finish. Hopefully no more problems during warranty, I buy new cars every two years trying to avoid having to deal with this kind of stuffs.
