OP and AMG, how is the power delivery with just running a 245/255 in the rear? Do you have to feather the throttle coming out of a corner to make sure the rear end doesn't step out too much? Have you considered going to a staggered setup to get a 265 or 275 in the rear?

Never a problem that I've come across. I had the same fear but it hooks and goes way better than I would have expected. I can get on the power the same place an E92 I've come across does. Here's a lap of WGI (with poorly synced audio) on 200TW Continentals which are not a particularly sticky tire.
Never considered not running square. The ability to rotate is way too valuable for a track car. Although I will say my car wears tires extremely evenly front to back.
