bmw actually puts the max width tire for the rim size (the rims are on the small side of the spectrum for the tires that bmw uses.)

thx for the input, i see there's still some reserve. I just dont want the ride quality or wheel safety to be too mutch compromised.
But I could buy wider tires eventually.
