I still think it was strange that RB and Honda parted.
Wasn't that because Honda first said to leave F1 and RB very quickly partnering up with Porsche, and then suddenly Honda said to continue with F1 (and thus now AMR grabbed that chance...)
Looks like a managementblunder from both RB and Honda...

Ford Red Bull Powertrains was/is Horner's plan .
