A few dealers were just aggressive, rude, and condescending. They wanted me to order ASAP or tried to sell me what they had on the lot.

So after that experience, I reached out to a broker outside of New England. They assured me about the discount %, refundable deposit, and they are fine with me bringing my own financing. So I paid my fee to them and received 7.5% off MSRP. The process was pretty easy. Deposit was only $1,000, which was refunded after I picked up my car.

I had to fligh out and pick up my car, but I think it was worth the time. It was fun driving my new X5 back home and I got to know the car pretty well.
