I'm running same set up as you and I honestly dont recall the "WHOOFs/WHOPs" on high rpm upshifts, but I guess I'm different, in that, I love the CRACK on the high rpm upshift with the midpipe!
I think I'm definitely moving to an aftermarket exhaust and was going to go Dinan with that crazy closeout price they had going but my order was cancelled, so I'm set on just going with Active's exhaust since they redesigned the resonated connecting pipes recently to mitigate the rubbing issues so many people had. Anyway, I certainly hope I dont loose the crack as I definitely like it
