Thanks so much for this very detailed discussion on the AC issues with the X7.
Want to share this is still happening in the 2026 models.
I just picked up a new 2026 X7 xDrive40i (with 03/2025.65) and it’s got the same low air flow issues and specifically with the front center and side vents.
Similar to the other years, non-auto modes barely produce air flow even on the highest setting. The auto mode produces more air but then it’s so loud (even on the lowest setting) it’s tough to hear others in the second or third row.
You can certainly tweak the temp to be colder but the air flow seems to be either extremely weak in non-auto modes and then better but extremely loud in auto modes.
Has anyone gotten a straight answer or maybe even a solution from BMW?
