I live in DFW and recently went (i) from a 2020 X7 40i to a 2026 X7 m60 and (ii) from a 2022 X5 40i to a 2026 X5 40i. I do the exact same drive everyday. The AC seems materially (~30% or so) weaker in the 2026 units, from my personal anecdotal experience. It's simply not as cold as fast, and the air blows slower, versus my prior cars.
