Just took delivery of a 2026 X7 m60, compared to the 2020 I traded in the A/C is very weak.
As another poster said, in Auto the airflow is always very loud which wasn’t the case with the 2020 but more normal if manually set. This is very odd because my wife’s 2024 iX does not have this issue although her vehicle does not have the new vents. The new LCI vents are… certainly a choice. They work but my first thought was “these look stupid and my kids are going to snap them and I bet it’ll be $2000 to fix”. The regular AC airflow is about the same but I am absolutely floored at how there was no difference at all pressing Max AC - it was identical to just leaving it in Auto.
I live in south Texas and it’s good enough, but it’s disappointing how the biggest problem everyone has been complaining about with the X7 nonstop for over half a decade has still not been addressed and arguably is getting worse.
I’m hoping it’s just engine run-in and it will get better in another hundred miles but I’m not holding my breath.
