No, I had the body shop re-spray it matte black at no charge to me and installed it.
I'm actually glad this happened because I ran into someone else with the standard OEM finish and their front splitter seems to have worn & weathered some over time while mine appears to be protected better since it has a fresh layer of black paint along with a matte finish / clear coat.
