I dont have the Y-spoke on my X7, but it doesn't get much worse than the 666M wheels on my M3. I've tried wheel cleaners and brushes, but they dont do as good of a job as handwashing with my normal soap to degrease and get off the brakedust followed by my quick detail/sealant spray with a microfiber towel to get the water spots off. Tedious, but you find a good rythm/technique with the towel and it's not bad.
Ceramic coat them if you want to keep them cleaner longer and speed up the clean up.
