It seems to me that more and more people are making substantial changes to their vehicles whilst on lease/PCP. In the past it tended to be people that had purchased cars maybe 3rd plus hand that modified but it has now become too tempting with modern turbo engines to extract extra horses for very little outlay.
I think we are going to see more of a crackdown by all manufacturers when it comes to warranty claims on cars that have had tuning boxes, suspension etc mods.
I have never modified a car as I am a believer that it should be perfect out of the box but would not knock anyone for making mods. I think however those that do mod may have to expect the worse if problems arise.
