My choice now however. QS Ultimate Durability. As far as filters Fram Ultra. This filter has a 99% efficiency at 20 microns. Most filters (if they actually publish their ratings are 99% at 35 to 40 microns.
GM did a test some years back and indicated a 40 micron filter had 3.4 times the wear as a 15 micron filter. Filter is more important than the oil IMHO.

Interesting. I use the Fram Ultras in the other cars, the BMWs get the Mann.
I didn't realize the Ultras came with the o-rings and crush washer until now.
On amazon the fram is over 2x the price as Mann.
