All US spec cars are pre-wired for the CD Changer.
If you do not have DSP then you will have a 3 pin and 6 pin connector. If you have DSP then you may have the 3 and 6 pin connectors, but you may just have the 3 pin and require a coaxial cable plus an Analogue to Digital converter to connect up anything (apart from the BMW CD Changer made before September 2005) to the CD Changer input.
