I think you mean 7:37

I find the 991 Carrera S time a bit hard to believe to be honest. The test was conducted by Porsche. The best time for the 997 Turbo S was 7:41 by Autobild.

Either way, the M4 time doesn't look great. It's 3 seconds faster than the M5 only. I have a feeling it's handling is not spectacular otherwise it would be close to the C2S if not better.
The 991 S sport auto time ( same driver for all of Sport auto' tests ) was 7:44 , so the M4 was 8 seconds slower with the same driver . The sport auto time for the M5 by the way was only 8:05 . Horst ( their test driver said the M5's brakes were fading badly and the tires were overheated pretty early on in his lap ( this was a non CP standard brake M5 not sure about whether it had a 155 limiter ) . I imagine a CP M5 with CCB and the newer PSS ( compound has changed since 2012) would have done considerably better. But at any rate looking at the same track same driver comparison the M4 with CCB , DCT , and no 155mph limiter , was much faster .
