That would be my suggestion. IIRC, a 40/60 mix of water/methanol starts to become flammable, hence most suggest a maximum of 50/50. Also I believe a 75/25 mix is good to about 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Windshield washer fluid that is good to -20F is 33% methanol by weight (although it may have some other winterizing additives).
Also, I run only distilled water and methanol in my system. Tap water around here is way too hard to run through an injector. I guess you could run filtered water, but really distilled water is cheap and readily available at the local supermarket.
I have a clear white 5 gallon "race" fuel can. I dump in 2.5 gallons of distilled water (they sell distilled water in 2.5 gal jugs) then fill it with methanol. That 5 gallons will generally last me about 3 months or so.
