I can’t decide which is the more inane standard feature in a so-called performance car; the auto start stop function or the default “comfort mode” function. Both of these features are dangerous detriments to driving (for those drivers who demand instantaneous throttle response) and they should never have been allowed to make it out of the Toyota Prius. I find it hard to believe that people who buy/lease BMWs these days actually want these inane standard features in their cars.
