I worry that the 'crystals' only last for a winter...two tops. I usually get 3-4 winters out of 'regular' snow tires before they are worn down by half and basically just all seasons. But that is when you sell them on CL.

I ran my Hakka Rsis since i bought the car in early 08. So I got pretty good life out of them.
As Iunderstand it, the crystals are embedded all the way through the compound, so they shouldn't be temporary.
