Picked up my new X7 40 2 weeks ago after a 2 month wait for the build...got upsold at closing by the finance manager for Clear bra and protective coating and probably paid way too much, but they would valet out to me which is over an hour and give a loaner so that was worth something for the convenience. Anyway, was supposed to be done today and driven back to me, but apparently right as they were finishing up, it sounds like the head on the air hose they were using fell off onto the windshield and cracked it. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the replacement apparently has to come all the way from Germany instead of just from the factory so guessing it will be several weeks...at least I got to enjoy the car for the first week.
Hopefully they will be able to offer some generous discount to make up for this.
