Fault code ideas
Hi all
I have a 14 plate f30 335d. Had a chap over to remap her yesterday and he did a check first for any fault codes before proceeding. Seemed ok apart from one.
The fault code was “Air Mass value range too high or excessive”... because of this and due to recently buying from a main dealer i get 12 month warrenty and to take it to them first then afterwards he will feel more comfortable remapping. Which i thought was nice as he had come a fair way!
Obviously im going to take it into bmw but would appreciate any kind of advice that i can relay to them so they dont fob me off and just clear the code only for it to reapear again.
Ive had the car around a month and feel its always driven spot on and seems running at peak power. But if its always been low on power since buying i wouldnt have noticed the decrease and thought its all normal.
