Shouldn't be an issue, the ones being shut down are (I believe) older ones that will not meet upcoming reg and safety requirement. You can always step up production in the other plants, as well as alternate forms of energy generation.
BTW, my friend got a note from his dealer his GT-R is about to be delayed, by an amount of time still undertermined. I don't think BMW is using many parts from Japan, so I don't anticipate any delays on their end.
