i just bought a current gt3.
-new one doesn't look all that good aesthetically, spoiler looks dumb, its physically bigger and most likely will be heavier. the turbo s increased its weight by 100 pounds this generation, for instance.
-they will retain the 4.0 flat 6 so i doubt we'll see a big power bump. most of the performance will be aero, tire, gearing related (8 speed pdk)
-trying to get a new 992 gt3 is going to be hard unless you wanna overpay (which will probably keep 991 values up for a while). |

Spoiler is love it or hate it. I'm not a fan, get the touring.
It will definitely surpass the 991.2.
