Cool, right? Due to the fact that I'm eye-balling a fully-loaded 40i, the new option-brackets actually brought my price
down about $150 ALTHOUGH I added Ambient Air and Extended Shadowline (and the added Drive recorder is included, too). That's nice!

I bet that is an error. I can't imagine they are taking this feature away from the X7 after just one year for no reason. It's one of the distinct features that sets the X7 apart from the X5 as well.

I keep my fingers crossed that this is still a result of a support issue. I don't understand why you should be able to get lasers on a X5 40i but not on the X7 if it's all about exclusivity of the V8-models.
Hopefully, they are available by the end of the year when it's time to order.
Other than that, I'm quite happy!
