I hear that. I've been planning on getting a 5 series since last summer and settled on the M5 (instead of the M550i) early this year. My existing lease ends on Aug 2nd and I really wanted to wait for the 2020 model (I wanted IDrive 7 and the new live cockpit) so I figured I'd be stuck renting something for a couple/few months. I was able to extend my lease 2 months and I should get the new one well before my lease ends.
The waiting is hard as hell though, isn't it.
Whoop, just saw on the BMW page my car is complete and awaiting carrier assignment!
