I like, but most definitely do not love, my M2. I drive it largely in the winter with snow tires, and otherwise to avoid putting miles on my other cars that I would prefer to drive more. It's a sort of personal restraint on my part.

The biggest difference, IMO, between 1M and M2 is the Steering. I've never driven 1M, but I did drive M2 and M2 Comp. No matter how good it is, but the electric steering doesn't give that confidence driving the car. Maybe it's just me.
Due to steering 1M will remain more sought after.
