Yea... Rick, this E10 gas is garbage. At least we can still buy SuperPlus off post at Esso @Tax Free prices.
You don't want to use Super grade either! ...bc Super now has >5% ethanol content now.
Only SuperPlus is unchanged.
Btw... this isn't AAFES but something being pushed by the German goverement(Bundes). Actually the Germans tried doing this two years ago... but way too many Germans freaked out and they (the Germans gov) postponed the E10 intro - until now.
Today I was out driving the Autobahns (I was up in the ex DDR) and every gas station I saw - now has E10. At Aral, they got rid of their SuperPlus grade - now they only have their top tier Ultimate 102, E10, Super and two diesel grades. Aral got rid of SuperPlus. I thought that was strange. Maybe it was just that gas station. ?
