The difference in terms of comfort, luxury and refinement of the M5 vs. M3/4 is night and day. I couldn't have been happier with my decision and you'd be surprised how well this car handles with the comp package.
If I was driving less miles and most of the time by myself I may lean toward an M4. With always having passengers and 2-3k miles per month it's a no brainer.
I'm really looking forward to how the M4 will drive. The M3/4 has always been the pinnacle of the M division.

With you driving that many miles, fuel economy was not a criteria in your decision? What kind of mileage are you getting on the M5?
