Similar to the 9006/9005 bulb swap, the same can be done for the H11/H9. H9 bulb produces 2100 lumens and the H11 bulb creates 1350 lumens. However, in order to do this the H9 bulb needs to be modified to fit the H11 socket and plug. Please refer to the pictures below to modify the H9 bulb.

The gist of it...
Why did I consider? Because H9 has more colors. I will experiment with deep purple and amber colors. The amber will give it a 'devils eye' look, like I have on the E39.
